A vivacious blend of Benin’s best, this compilation is unsurprisingly as electric as it is eclectic. The best of the best psychedelic funk from west Africa. Orchestre Poly-Rythmo de Cotonou is one of the most interestingly raw African bands off of Analog Africa. Their various compilations leave no room for the anti-dance-like folk. Some truly moving sounds.

This is one of the most fulfilling compilations I have ever invested interest in. Raw and Invigorating. Includes some of the most notable psychedelic masters of west Africa. It’s pretty explosive, with some real true quality percussion, unlike the more mainstream of its genre.
